Internet Business From Your Home Computer

Starting an online business can change your life dramatically. I decided to do this in 2005 because I was tired of working sixty to seventy hours each week just to pay my bills. I dreamed of working from home and being able to make the same amount of money while working fewer hours at something that would be interesting. I had been a classroom teacher for twenty years, and had worked in real estate even longer. I liked my work, but was no longer passionate about it because I was just plain worn out.

When I began teaching others how to start their own online business, I found that people typically fell into four categories. Some had young children at home, and wanted to be there for them. Missing school and sports activities is not good when your children are counting on you to be supportive.

Others had elderly parents or an ill family member, and needed to be home to help care for them. The third group had lost their job, or had left a job that was no longer rewarding. They wanted an opportunity to make more money and choose their own work hours. It was also a chance to be more creative in their work. The fourth group had health issues that made it extremely difficult to work outside the home.

I fall into the second, third, and fourth categories. My mother is in her nineties, and working as many hours as I used to left no time to help care for her. I also have had serious health issues that made it difficult to be gone from home for ten hours or more every day. My motivation to work from my home computer was very strong.

Take a look at your life and see if being able to work from your home computer would make your life more rewarding. This may be just the thing to make your life easier while also giving you the opportunity to make a good living.

Remember that the reason to start an internet business is to give you the time and money to live the life you choose.
