Surveys, An Additional Way to Generate Income
How many times have you given your opinion on a particular item? Have you ever told your friends about a fabulous new product that you just started buying? If you are like every other consumer in our country you do this on a daily basis without even thinking about it.
In our modern day and age, consumer opinion is critical before, during and after a product is launched. Companies do not want to invest large quantities of money on the development of a product before knowing what the customer’s response will be. This is where survey taking begins. Companies may conduct focus groups or surveys themselves with current customers or may opt to hire a company to perform surveys based on their new products or service ideas. These companies have large databases of consumers nationwide that meet a variety of demographics easily catered to the manufacturer or service provider. For example, let’s assume a company wants to release a new variety of frozen treats and would like to know the response in households where children ages 2 – 14 live. In this case, the Survey company will disposition a query on their databases and will issue surveys to only those households that meet the criteria. How much money can you make taking surveys? Although taking surveys is fun, it is highly unlikely that you could make a living just taking surveys alone as they will probably generate a small amount of income every month.
